We collect the data you provide when you register (email, last name, first name, date of birth) and while using the service (profile, interests, city, photos, outing participations, messages, reviews). Technical data (connection logs) is also collected for the security of the service.
Your data is used exclusively to run Meetzy: creating your profile, connecting people around outings, messaging, the trust system (reviews), notifications, moderation and service improvement. We never sell your data to third parties.
Processing is based on the performance of the contract (provision of the service), your consent (geolocation, optional emails) and our legitimate interest (security, abuse prevention). Your data is kept as long as your account is active, then deleted or anonymized within a maximum of 12 months after account deletion, unless otherwise required by law.
Some of your profile information is visible to other members depending on your privacy settings (public profile, display of age and gender). Our technical processors (hosting, email delivery, image storage, real-time notifications) process data on our behalf, under GDPR-compliant contracts.
In accordance with the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection. You can adjust the visibility of your profile from your settings, and exercise your rights by contacting us. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL if you believe your rights are not being respected.
Your passwords are encrypted, exchanges with our servers are secured (HTTPS) and access to data is strictly limited. In the event of a data breach likely to pose a risk to your rights, you will be informed in accordance with the regulations.
Meetzy only uses cookies essential to the operation of the service (session, authentication). No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are set.
